Animangaki 2014

So this year I decided to go only on the first day of Animangaki AND it's also the first time I decided not to enter the hall since the ticket prices (to me) weren't really worth it with the things they are offering inside the hall (doujin booths, other booths, stage events). I'm better off lingering outside this time. The flower, my driver this year insisted on buying tickets to enter the hall cause she wanted to look around since she hasn't been to that many events like I did. In the end.. None of us bought tickets. But we still entered the hall. Thanks to some game friends we made from playing AikaSEA. Thanks Makie for borrowing the exhibitor passes for us from Kiddo. We saw the Keysia couple too! Glad they're still together. Apparently they know I always win movie passes.

We met up with Dawn and Mama Dawn as usual. It was fun watching her Jelsa jumping around here and there with Vincent's Jack Frost. *coughtheylookcutetogethercough* After waiting for both Dawn and her brother for hours, we finally got to leave and go eat and buy some drinks! Too bad the Red Bean Rolling Ice I was aiming is not available since the whole Cup-Bon stall went poof. We went to Ochado and had some mille crepes~ I forgot to use my Ochado Card /sobs/ wasted points... We departed on our ways around 7pm.

Oh and I got my MTV World Stage Malaysia passes too! Thanks to Sunway Pals~ It has some "EXPRESS" sticker stuck on it and I don't know what's the difference. But oh well it's not like I'm gonna go. It's tomorrow and the passes are with the brother's friend now.

Books Books Books

The Book Fest started on the 26th of July and this is like the first time I went on its first day. So called to avoid the crowd but in the end there's still a lot of people.... But in the end.. I bought nothing. Nada. 0 books. So I paid the entrance fee of RM2.50 to walk in and walk out to window shop and bought nothing. For the first time I bought nothing from this particular book fest. I was suppose to use up them darn book vouchers. On a brighter note, I found Born To Rebel at Kinokuniya! And it was the last copy. I sorta regret not buying it immediately cause I ended up going all the way to KLCC again just to use up the vouchers on the 31st....... Urgh. It was annoying and tiring and utter bullshit! That was what I thought until the day itself of course since I didn't need to take the public transport on the 31st when I went. Hehehehehe.

I love walking into Kinokuniya and get immersed in the scent of books! Books everywhere! Ahhhh~ (major grammar error I know) Unfortunately I get sad every time I flip the books over and saw the price tags. When planning on what books to buy with the book vouchers, the first book I got my hands on when I walked in was Born To Rebel. It was really really hard to use up the rest of the vouchers cause I didn't know what other books to buy.. Was planning to buy The Fault in Our Stars but... It was out of stock....... It wasn't on the 26th but oh well. In the end I bought Born To Rebel, Sherlock The Casebook and The Hobbit: the Desolation of Smaug - Visual Companion. There goes all RM200 book vouchers + some additional cash.

The End :P

Half Day Trip!

So the girls suddenly felt like having a half day trip around Shah Alam so voila! There we go on a Monday afternoon! I'm gonna keep it short since I'm a little too lazy with the details. We started our little journey by waiting for our specific drivers to pick us up and both cars full of girls met up at Shah Alam Section 7's McDonalds! After having our lunch we moved on to Section 7's (Laman Seni 7) street art "art street". We spent quite some time there before moving on to the next pit stop. Only to realize that the shave ice stall wasn't open that day... So on to the next McD we found before heading to a nearby lake and stopped there for like.. 15 minutes before we felt the rain, went back into the car and left! Before heading to i-City, we took a detour and went to A&W! It was already 5pm when we reached A&W! Had my favorite coney dog and curly fries ♥ ♥ ♥ with an extra root beer which I usually wouldn't order since the siblings would order it. Since I wasn't with them so I got myself one instead! We were there for about an hour before we finally headed to i-City! Took us a while to find a parking space since there were quite a lot of people and it was troublesome getting to a higher floor at the car park building. It was still quite bright when we reached and decided to walk around. I couldn't help but get attracted by the bumper cars since it's one of my favorite theme park game/ride. So me, Jackyln, SweeLi and Serena went on to bump around in our bumper car while the others stood around watching us. It was hella fun! We moved on to the Ferris Wheel next but unfortunately it was rather boring and disappointing... Oh well.. Some of us got on the Giant Swing later on and it was boring too... Since it's already dark, we went to Subway to get some drinks and some had another meal before we headed to the lighted trees to take some pictures. There was a mini music fountain show around 9.30pm before we soon left i-City. Think that's the end of our trip? Not even close! Okay fine not like we did a lot after that. We went to have supper at "Lok Lok Kai" nearby IOI Boulevard. Some of them did while some of us just sat there like I did. Spent a lot and didn't really wanna spend anymore. We left when it was close to 12am. Considered early since we usually sit around till 1am. It was probably the first time we didn't gather at some restaurant or mall. It was a fun experience and I would like to have this sort of trips more! That's all for now~ Ciao~
